ADAM MARCZYŃSKI. MALARSTWO
Adam Marczyński (1908-1985) malarz, grafik, rysownik ukończył studia malarskie na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie w roku 1936. W roku 1945 na tej Uczelni podjął pracę pedagogiczną, którą kontynuował do roku 1979. Dziś, w kilkanaście lat po Jego śmierci, Akademia Sztuk Pięknych chce uczcić pamięć tego artysty i pedagoga, a szerszemu gronu miłośników sztuki umożliwić zapoznanie się z oryginalnąi odkrywczą twórczościąjednego z najwybitniejszych malarzy polskich XX wieku.

ALBRECHT DURER
Though he is most famous for his engravings, Albrecht Durer (1471-1528) was also a master painter and draftsman whose work exemplifies the spirit of German art. Durer's importance in the German High Renaissance was such that he can be considered to embody the movement entirely. His visits to Italy (where he studied most notably with Giovanni Bellini) had a profound effect on his artistic development and enabled him to combine both German and Italian influences in his work.

Calder took it off the plinth, gave it to the wind, and left us kinetic playgrounds of the spirit. He operated at the point where Modernity and nature fused, developing an environmental art that changed the medium forever. Visiting his Paris atelier in 1932, Duchamp coined the term "Mobiles" for Calder`s delicate wire and disc pieces, constructions that would soon become immensely popular.
